According to The Mirror, Wilfried Zaha’s new agent Pini Zahavi is trying to broker a deal to move his client to Tottenham Hotspur, and loads of Crystal Palace fans have been reacting on Twitter.
The report says that Spurs were keen on signing the Ivory Coast international during the summer transfer window, but that they aren’t willing to meet the Eagles’ £80m asking price.
The Mirror says that the 27-year-old is intent on leaving Selhurst Park in a bid to boost his chances of winning silverware and playing Champions League football, and that Zahavi has been tasked with finding the winger a new club.
The attacker hasn’t quite been as effective as he was for the Eagles last term when he scored 10 and assisted a further 10 in the Premier League, with three of each in 21 top-flight outings so far in 2019/20.
Reports suggested during the summer that he expected to complete a move to Everton while he was also linked with Arsenal, but neither potential deal materialised.
It’s the dawn of a new decade in the Premier League, but how much do you know about the last 10 years?
Some Palace supporters have replied to a thread citing the report, with some throwing daggers at their London rivals.
Two more fans suggested that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will never pay the fee they would want for their talisman, which is probably fair.
Indeed, Tottenham would have to smash their current transfer record to get Zaha if he is indeed valued at £80m.
Two more supporters brought player swap deals to the table, with one potentially realistic and another, well, let’s say not.

Palace are certainly short of options in the full-backs areas and if they could get Rose and Walker-Peters – who have seen Jan Vertonghen and Serge Aurier preferred ahead of them in the full-back slots in recent weeks – plus a reasonable fee for Zaha, that could be tempting.
In other Crystal Palace news, there could be more bad news on the way for Christian Benteke…
