Liverpool win 'unfair', says EnriquePraises Alisson's heroic performanceLiverpool score from only shot on targetFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?
Paris Saint-Germain continued their strong performance this season as they took on Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 clash. However, they were unable to convert their dominance at Parc des Princes as Arne Slot's side scored from their only shot on target. Harvey Elliott fired past Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 87th minute to give the Reds a crucial first leg lead away from home.

Compared to Liverpool's solitary shot on target, Les Parisiens had a total of 10 attempts on Alisson Becker's goal on the night. However, the Brazilian goalkeeper's historic performance gave Paris Saint-Germain a disappointing loss, and Enrique has labelled the defeat as 'very unfair' to the Ligue 1 champions-elect.
AFPWHAT ENRIQUE SAID
Speaking to the media, Enrique said: "That’s very unfair. It's the most complete game we played in the Champions League. They shot once, they scored. Their best player was the goalie. It's a bit weird. I'm very proud of my team. We were far better than Liverpool. Far better.
"The goalkeeper was exceptional. Alisson decided which way the game went. Liverpool have never played like this this season. And it's not because they chose to. It's because we made them. But the details are Alisson made five amazing saves. We were very superior."
WHAT NEXT FOR PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN?
Les Parisiens will now return to action in Ligue 1 and take on Rennes before they travel to Anfield on Tuesday, March 11, to take on Liverpool and look to overturn their first-leg deficit.
