Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has hinted that he is set to get a second chance to impress at Elland Road at the end of the season, and Whites fans have been quick to react to the 27-year-old’s comments.
Speaking to Dutch publication AD, via Sport Witness, the Poland international says he is “99, almost 100%” sure he will be returning to the Yorkshire outfit following a successful loan spell with Eredivisie outfit FC Utrecht in the second-half of the 2017/18 campaign.
The midfielder had struggled to get into the XI for the Championship side under previous boss Thomas Christiansen, and he was sent out on a temporary basis during the January transfer window before Paul Heckingbottom’s arrival in February.
Leeds supporters, who have bashed their club on Twitter for letting Klich go following some brilliant displays for Utrecht, were quick to have their say on his likely return and involvement via social media.
