Jose Mourinho is definitely a serial winner.
The Special One has been all across Europe and if there’s one thing that connects all of his past tenures, then it’s silverware. Be it Real Madrid, Porto, Inter Milan or Manchester United, the Portuguese manager has always managed to collect some trophies.
But doing so at Tottenham Hotspur might be more of a challenge considering the drought they’ve endured in recent times.

Still, both times when his team finished second in the Champions League group stage, they went on to win the whole thing. First, it happened with Porto back in 2003/04 when they were behind Real Madrid and then with Inter Milan in 2009/10 when they finished behind Barcelona.
And intriguingly enough, that’s exactly what happened with Spurs in this year’s group stage.
They finished second behind Bayern Munich and many of the fans took this as proof that the European crown is coming home.
Of course, seeing how this is Mourinho we’re talking about, some of the fans seem pretty convinced that it could definitely happen while the others realise they’re just grasping on straws at this point.
Still, they all seem to be hoping that it comes true, no matter how ambitious that may be at the moment.
Can Mourinho really work his dark magic and somehow eclipse Pochettino within his first season at the helm of Spurs?
Only time will tell.
